Decisions on facts, not gut feel

Your business already produces the answers, they're just scattered across spreadsheets, apps, and inboxes. We bring it all together so the truth is one glance away.

The whole job, owned

We can carry this end to end

We build your data function end to end: auditing the systems you run today, bringing their numbers into one reliable home, agreeing what each metric actually means so 'revenue' is one number everywhere, and putting live dashboards in front of every decision-maker, with training so your team actually uses them.

In plain terms: the Monday report writes itself, every department works from the same numbers, and automatic checks catch a broken figure before it ever reaches your board deck. Privacy and access control are standard, not extras.

The full range

If you can describe it, we can build it

Wherever your numbers live and whatever question you're trying to answer, this is the range of data work we deliver.

Don't see yours? The list only ends because the page has to. Describe what you need, in your own words is fine.

How delivery works

One contract, zero handoffs

The same disciplined lifecycle behind every engagement, so you always know where the project stands.

01

Discovery & scoping

Workshops with your stakeholders, a technical audit of what exists, and a written scope with a clear estimate and timeline. You approve before anything is built.

02

Architecture & design

System design, security and compliance review, data modeling, and clickable prototypes. The expensive mistakes get caught here, on paper, where they're cheap.

03

Build in weekly sprints

Working software demoed every week, code-reviewed and covered by automated tests in CI/CD. You watch it grow instead of waiting for a big reveal.

04

Hardening & QA

End-to-end testing, load testing, penetration checks, and user acceptance with your team, signed off against the scope, line by line.

05

Launch

Zero-downtime deployment, monitoring and alerting switched on, your team trained, and documentation handed over. You own the code and the infrastructure.

06

Run & improve

Written SLAs, automated monitoring with alerts, security patching, and a monthly improvement allowance. The product keeps getting better after launch day.

The technology

2026 tools, plainly explained

Modern data tooling has made analytics that once needed a whole department affordable for any business, here's the 2026 stack we work with, in plain words.

3 areas · 20 capabilities

Business intelligence tools turn raw numbers into charts anyone can read: filtered, drillable, and live.

  • Power BI, natural if you run Microsoft

Usually the right fit when your organisation already uses Microsoft 365, since sign-in and licensing are already in place. We set it up so a regional manager opening a report sees only their own region: automatically, from one report, not a copy per team.

  • One definition of the truth (Looker)

Each metric is defined once, centrally, and every report inherits it. This ends the recurring meeting where two departments present different numbers for the same thing and spend an hour arguing about whose is right.

  • Dashboards for everyone, no per-seat fees (Metabase)

A self-hosted option with no licence per user, which makes it practical to give dashboards to the whole company instead of rationing them. Non-technical staff answer their own questions through a visual editor.

  • Technical monitoring dashboards (Grafana)

For the technical side of the house (servers, devices, live system health) with alerts attached directly to the charts. Usually deployed alongside a business dashboard tool, not instead of one.

  • Analytics built into your own product

When analytics is a feature you sell to your customers, we build it into your application with your design, your permissions, and your pricing tiers, no third-party branding and no per-viewer licence cost as you grow.

  • On the boardroom TV, the laptop, and the phone

The same numbers laid out appropriately for a wall display, a desk, and a pocket, plus scheduled email delivery for the people who will never open a dashboard. Distribution is usually what decides whether a reporting project changes any decisions.

One organized home for all your numbers, the difference between 'I think' and 'I know'.

  • A warehouse that grows with you (BigQuery, Snowflake)

A central home for your data that handles anything from a startup's first reports to billions of records, where you pay for what you use rather than for idle machines, and where the finance team's month-end crunch can't slow anyone else's dashboard.

  • Sometimes a simple database is enough

Not every business needs a cloud warehouse. Where volumes are moderate, a well-tuned standard database (PostgreSQL) delivers the same answers for a small fraction of the cost, and we'll say so rather than sell you a bigger platform.

  • Every number's origin, traceable

Every figure on every dashboard can be traced back to the exact source it came from, step by step. 'Where does this number come from?' is answered by clicking, not by finding whoever built the report.

  • Pipelines that tell us when they fail

The overnight data loads retry themselves, catch up after an outage, and raise an alert when a source system fails to deliver, so we learn about a missing load at 6 a.m., not from a director noticing a flat chart at 11.

  • Connected to every system you run

Reliable feeds from your CRM, accounting package, online store, ad accounts, and support desk: pulling only what's changed, and coping gracefully when one of those systems renames a field.

  • Live data only where it's worth it

Most decisions are fine with data refreshed hourly or nightly; a few (fraud, live stock during a sale) need it in seconds. Real-time costs meaningfully more, so we recommend it only where the decision genuinely can't wait.

  • Metrics with one agreed meaning

One definition per metric, documented with an owner, reused by every tool. It's the single highest-leverage piece of data work, because it's what makes the numbers trustworthy enough to act on.

Beyond charts: models that forecast demand, flag anomalies, and let you ask questions of your data in plain English.

  • Forecasts with honest confidence levels

Demand, revenue, and cash-flow projections that account for seasonality, holidays, and promotions, shown as a realistic range, not a single misleading number. We test them against your own history first and tell you how accurate they are.

  • Alerts when a number goes strange

Automatic flags when a metric leaves its normal range, tuned to your history so an ordinary Monday peak doesn't page anyone. Alerts go to the person who can act, with the relevant chart attached.

  • Ask your data questions in plain English

Staff type a question and get back a chart, always consistent with the official metric definitions, and always showing its working, so the system stays checkable rather than mysterious.

  • Broken numbers caught before the board sees them

Automatic checks on every data load: is it fresh, complete, and within sensible ranges? A broken figure is caught and quarantined before it reaches a board pack, because that failure costs credibility, not just money.

  • Know what a customer is really worth

Which customers stay, which channels bring the ones who do, and what a customer is worth over their lifetime. The analysis that changes where the marketing budget goes.

  • Insight without exposing personal data

Personal details are minimised or anonymised for analysis, access is restricted row by row, deletion schedules run automatically, and every query is logged. Analysts get the insight without unnecessary access to identifiable people.

  • Training so the dashboards get used

Hands-on sessions with the people who'll use the dashboards, plus plain-language documentation of every metric. A reporting platform nobody was trained on is shelfware, so adoption is part of the deliverable, not your problem afterwards.
